Our First Day!

Hello Parents and Friends!

What a fun class we have this year! We had so much fun today! We practiced writing our names and we made popsicle stick people for our "taking turns" chart. During circle time we talked about the calendar, the weather, and Ms Patti  read 'Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready For Kindergarten'. We got to know our new friends and we explored the classroom. We also introduced the letter "A". We talked about apples, we made our very own little Apple books, and we made an apple graph and had apple taste testing! After snack time we headed out to the patio for our class pictures. Then it was music time! Our class loved 'Greg and Steve's Big Fun CD'! What a great day! We have such a happy class!

Registration Packets and the First Day of School!

Hello Parents, 

Registration packets for all preschool and Little Artist Students are going out this weekend! I will be emailing them to you. You will need to print and sign it and bring it on the first day of school. If you are unable to print from home let me know and I can do my best to deliver one to you. On the first day of preschool, Monday, August 27, we will be reviewing the packet briefly. That packet is like a syllabus. I try to put everything you may need to know in it. Save it on your computer to refer back and keep a hard copy filed away at home. :)

First day of preschool:
Monday, August 27
12-3pm
Parents will need to stay the first 1/2 hour to review the registration packet.
You can bring your younger children with you. I'll have puzzles, blocks, and books for the kids while we have our quick meeting. I don't think it will take a full half hour, probably 15 minutes. 

First day of Little Artist Class:

Friday, September 7

12-3pm

Parents of students only attending Little Artist Class and not the Preschool Class will need to stay for the first few minutes of our first class to review the registration packet.
